All this talk about the Detroit auto show, and I will be attending the Washington DC autoshow! Really it’s not that exciting, I mean it is to me because it’s my first time I will attend anything as a “journalist”. So I want to take Y’all (yes I am embracing this word because we have a lexical gap) along on this journey of my experience. So please let me know what you want to know. What you want to see? The DC autoshow isn’t really a great show normally(no huge announcements), I’m planning on covering this more as, “how does this whole autoshow press thing work anyway.”

Congrats, I head up there every year and have a good time. I know a few good restaurants in the area too.

Yeah, I've been twice as a layman. It's not a terribly good show in all honesty. But it's the best within day driving range really. I'm going to use it to test out portable equipment and see how well that goes.

Nice! I'm going to the New England International Auto Show in Boston on Saturday. It's so soon after Detroit that there are no reveals and most of the cool stuff isn't there. They don't even have press days, so I'm going as just a regular schmuck. Hoping to do NYIAS as press for RFD though. Gotta see that new Jeep Patriot/Compass, you know...

Yeah that’s almost how the DC show is, it’s a little later so it’s a little better (maybe)
when press registration opens for NYIAS I’m going to register, fingers crossed I’ll see you there!
